Art beyond the west

In art beyond the west, you can see that their art was based on the king's doing and their god like Buddha. The art that caught my attention is the head of a King on 4th century in Sassanian Period. These Arts were the glorified image of the King who was identified as the unifying force that holds the empire together and represents the authority of the Crown. The King dominates the court scenes, and is present in all Hunting and Banquet scenes carved in the mountain or on most items such as ruby encrusted metal Vases and artifacts.




And that's how I'm amazed to that art in the ART BEYOND THE WEST.

Baroque period, era in the of the western arts roughly coinciding with the 17th century. It's earliest manifestation, which occurred in Italy, while in some regions, notably in Germany and colonial South America, certain of its culminating achievements did not occur in 18th century. The work that distinguishes the Baroque period is stylistically complex, even contradictory. In general, however, the to evoke emotional states by appealing to the senses, often in dramatic ways,underlies its manifestations. Some of the qualities most frequently associated with the baroque are grandeur, sensuous richness,drama, vitality, movement, tension, emotional exuberance, and tendency to blur distinctions between the various arts. Baroque arts are incredible and amazing.

Blog #3 christian arts

Early Christian, at that time the christian are hiding because Christianity is forbidden. they are hiding in an underground in Catacombs of Rome. As time goes by, when king Constantine converted to a Christian, the Christianity has become not forbidden and legal to all of us.

In that time, their art are also survive. Their arts are realistic because their basis is a human like angel and saints.
The art that hooked my attention is the The Last Supper that made by Leonardo Da Vinci, and that art is located in Italy. there are some imitation of that art which you can see anywhere even in calendar and etc.

Most of their art is in the church because of their devotion.

Blog #2 The Classical Period

 The classical period is more on gods and goddesses. This is the art I like, because of knowing about  all the gods and their power, one of the gods I like is Poseidon god of the seas. And also Zeus. :)

In the early classical, or transitional period. A humanism began to find its aesthetic expression in terms of a perfect balance between verisimilitude and abstraction of form. The largest surviving group of sculpture is from the temple of  Zeus at Olympia. Although certain conventions in rendering hair and draperies persist from the archaic period, the magnificent marble figures from the pediments reveal a new kind of insight into the structure of the human figure. 

Ancient arts

We all going back to the history. We all know that the ancient arts are not particularly colorful, because their arts are etched or engraved in stone that's why their arts are simple. their arts are realistic and natural, because their only depend on what they see and what are they doing.
 They arts also showing us their rituals and they doing it.

This is our last blog for this semester. I know there’s more to come and much better than these. This is late but I will still pass it. This first video so it’s not that good as I expected.

I love playing guitar and this is one of my pass times. That is why I put a guitar in the middle. I love music even if I’m not that good. I’m happy playing guitar with my friends, cousins, classmates, love ones and other company.

The pictures are kind of messy and smaller than what I expected. In those pictures, I’m with my family, cousins and friends. Most of the pictures are with my cousin s because I’m with them most of the time. They are important to me and they always make me feel important.

This is already late, but its better than never.

I chose this song because it is the first song that comes into my mind.  I chose this because I love someone.  I admit it but she so far away and I haven’t seen her personally. I am always thankful because she also loves me as much as I love her.  She’s always there for me even if we are far away from each other.

This song is also for my parents that very supportive to me.  Even if I’m a little bad sometimes, they accept me and they never expect so much from me. They know my limits. I am always thankful to them because they always take care of me and my whole family that always there for me.
